Artist Statement

My goal in each of my artworks is to harmoniously combine color and shape into a unified whole.  Fabric is my preferred medium because it exists and can be formed into so many different textures, both visual and tactile.  I relish the challenge to find or create the perfect fabric for each usage.

Inspiration for each piece may come from nature, from something recently seen, or from my imagination.  Exploring connections of all kinds  is what I enjoy most.

Your quilts are amazing! I recently attended a 1969 Morgan women's class reunion. If you'd like a class picture and update please send me your email.
